Preserving this writing which I am afraid could be purged by FascistBook.

In the time since FascistBook deleted @tftproject and many other alternative media sources from their site I have been concerned that my work over there could also be destroyed. Reflecting on all of the information which was in essence burned, I thought of my indigenous ancestors who also had their histories removed, and my Jewish ancestors who had their language and religion banned numerous times over the ages.**

All of the censorship happening over there has me wanting to save some of the meaningful posts I wrote here on Steemit.

This post I originally wrote on the 17th of October 2016.

"How does it all happen?
How can all be provided for?
How do all the dishes get washed?

Volunteers, hundreds and thousands of them.
People coming from all horizons, our planet's surface is yielding the people who show up to do the good work, the people whose hearts can no longer be apart from the planets beating heart.

They have gathered, in peace, in prayer, in their own ways, supported by their community's, by their tribal leaders, supported by their city, supported by their recognition that we must protect our water, now, and into the future.

They bring water, they bring so much water, sacred blessed water from all corners of the nation and beyond.
They bring blankets, physically tons of blankets.
Quilts, comforters, wool, down, sleeping bags, zero bags...
They bring all the nice food, the feast from their table, their cultural foods, their diverse range of cooking styles and abilities, beans and rice, coffee, sugar, flour, oil, veggies for days, pallets and pallets of veggies, so many fruits, apples, pears, melons, beets, all the processed foods, buffalo, elk, salmon, wild rice, wild craft food of all sorts, every can you can imagine...
They bring clothes, tents, tarps, wood... Ice cream all of the things are brought.
People work, there are people building structures, people teaching the children, people are sorting donations, others are cooking for enormous meals, many are making their way between the camps, some attend meetings and councils, others are in Bismarck or Fort Yates, many are at the casino, using wifi, out from under the dampened internet and phone area.
The casino is a refuge, a room allows many water protectors to shower, and be at ease, inside a building.
It takes a certain type of person to walk away from everything, to choose what is in essence outside living and come.
The sort of people who come, bring the best part of themselves.
You know that part of yourself, bring it to Sacred Stone Camp.
