The month of November ends in six or seven days depending on what part of the globe you're living in, which means the “No Nut November” (N3) challenge is almost over. If you're partaking in the challenge, you're free to pop off when the clock hits midnight on December 1st. I came across an article by Kotaku, surprisingly, which lists ten anime characters that would fail the challenge. I happen to agree with the answers, though I believe there are more anime characters who'd miserably fail No Nut November.
I was inspired to write my own article on who'd fail No Nut November but I chose to use fighting game characters. I didn't list the dudes in any particular rank because I don't know who'd fail miserably plus there are people who'd purposely fail and mock the entire concept.
#1 – Joe Higashi (Fatal Fury, The King of Fighters, and Capcom vs. SNK)
Joe is always on the hunt for women but he often fails. I'm confident that he'd totally fail No Nut November, despite him having a sweet spot for Lilly Kane, the younger sister to Billy Kane, one of Geese Howard's loyal and most skilled henchmen.
#2 – Ramon (The King of Fighters)
This Mexican luchador has a sweet spot for his former teammate, Vanessa, despite constantly getting brushed off by her. He'll be thinking about Vanessa when he ultimately fails the No Nut November challenge. It doesn't help, either, that he teamed up with Angel in The King of Fighters XIV. If Ramon's not thinking about Vanessa, he'll probably think about Angel.
#3 – Shen Woo (The King of Fighters)
Shen Woo is the first and only man in the series who has been sexualized with his bare chest being shown off. I think women would throw themselves at Shen Woo left and right on a regular basis, which is why I believe he'd fail the challenge.
#4 – Dan Hibiki (Street Fighter, Marvel vs. Capcom, and Capcom vs. SNK)
I wouldn't have put Dan Hibiki on the list because he's so focused on spreading his family style of Saikyo Martial Arts across the world but I checked out Akira Kazama's entry on the Street Fighter Fandom page. Akira's addition to the Street Fighter V cast makes her the first and sole Rival Schools character to be playable in a Street Fighter title.
Akira is apparently a looker when she is in her summer bathing suit. She has gotten Dan Hibiki's attention, which is why her big brother, Daigo Kazama, wants to kick his @$$. Given Dan's personality, if he's turned on by Akira in a swimsuit, he'll fail No Nut November.
#5 – Teddie (Persona 4 Arena)
This adorable bear/clown mascot hybrid, who also has a human body, is far from being innocent. He has a lot to learn about this world, especially when it comes to women and boundaries. In the living world, Teddie is getting used to a lot of things.
It's a given that Teddie fails No Nut November.
#6 – Sol Badguy (Guilty Gear)
Sol wouldn't care for No Nut November and would dismiss it as a stupid notion of the past. He'd probably be surprised if the No Nut November challenge managed to survive until the 22nd century, the present time of the Guilty Gear series.
Since Sol got reunited with his wife in the events of Guilty Gear Strive, he's NOT going to participate in the challenge.
#7 – Sin Kiske (Guilty Gear)
I forgot to mention him in my original piece, which was published on Medium. As you may know, Arc System Works just announced that Sin is the newest DLC character to be added to Guilty Gear Strive's playable roster.
While Ky Kiske is Sin's biological father, Sol Badguy is Sin's daddy. There is the technicality of Sol being Sin's grandfather, too, which is explained in Guilty Gear Xrd: Rev 2's story. Sin will probably learn about No Nut November, then ask Sol about it.
Sol would probably tell Sin to ignore No Nut November.
#8 – Zack (Dead or Alive)
Zack is a self-proclaimed ladies' man who is so focused on flirting with the ladies since Dead or Alive 3 and then on. Fans of the DOA franchise shouldn't be surprised as to why Zack is on the list. He's probably thinking of Tina Armstrong while he's failing the challenge.
#9 – Kano (Mortal Kombat)
Kano is a ruffian with no respect for rules, morals, and so on. That is why he is a feared villain in the world of Mortal Kombat. Not only would Kano purposely fail the challenge, but he'd also spank it with one hand and raise his middle finger in the air with the other hand.
He'd openly demean people who do participate. I believe he'd mock people like Liu Kang and Sub-Zero, believing they're incels who participate against their will.
#10 – Bang Shishigami (BlazBlue)
As a self-proclaimed hero for “love and justice,” he'd believe that the No Nut November challenge goes against everything he's fighting for.
#11 – Erron Black (Mortal Kombat)
Erron is a Texas gunslinger who has been alive ever since the 19th century. I highly doubt someone like Erron Black would participate in the No Nut November challenge. He'd likely fail the challenge on purpose and then lightly make fun of everyone else who's participating.
#12 – Dante (Devil May Cry)
Dante wouldn't make it through the first two weeks of the challenge, especially with Trish and Lady mocking him in the process. In the reboot, DmC: Devil May Cry, Dante beds at least one woman every few nights.
Being the womanizer that he is, Dante would fail.
#13 – Kim Dong Hwan (Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolves)
Dong Hwan, the eldest son of Fatal Fury's Kim Kaphwan, is a ladies' man. Instead of training hard in his style of Taekwondo, Dong Hwan uses his time to hit on the ladies. He even has a couple of girlfriends, too.
He'd fail the challenge.
These are the 13 fighting game characters who I believe would fail the No Nut November challenge, but you can read my full-depth piece on Medium, where I added an additional list of “dishonorable” mentions for those who are not just video game characters.
