Some plants I found in Hardangervidda, Norway

in norway •  7 years ago  (edited)

I stayed for a couple of nights in a mountain lodge in Hardangervidda with my family this weekend. The plants and flowers we found at 1100 metres above sea level, where there still is patches of snow here and there, inspired me to take a few pictures so I could research more about the plants when we got home. I hope I have found the correct names for these beauties (in Norwegian, English and Latin), if not, please leave a comment :)

Rosenrot / Arctic root / Rhodiola rosea:

Svarttopp / Velvetbells / Bartsia alpina (the purple ones) and Musøre / Least willow / Salix herbacea (right side, in front):

Lusegress / Northern firmoss / Huperzia selago (subspecies arctica or appressa):IMG_3972.jpg
