I have been talking about the cabin I am building, or some carpenters are building for me, at the foot of Hardangervidda.
So after visiting the building site last week I thought it was in place to share some pictures with you who follow me and are interested in buildings and design.
But first a little info about the location of the cabin.
As I mentioned we are building it near Hardangervidda, this is the largest alpine/mountain plateau in the north of Europe.
Here we can find a lot of different plant and animal life that only lives here. And it is home for the southernmost reindeer flok in Europe.
The plateau extends over three counties and are about 8000 km2 large. Here you can hike around for weeks all by your self.
So we are very exited to take on this place for our hikes in the years to come.
From our house to the cabin it is about 3,5 hours drive so that means we can be here every weekend and make a lot of photos that I can post here at Steemit :)
Here are som pictures from the cabin. and now it is only about 4 weeks until we can use it!!!!
A lot of snow here at the moment, but as you can see the cabin fits well in the terrain.
The cabin got a bit bigger that we planed. It contains 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 1 washing room, 1 large kitchen and a huge living room. Outside we have a big porch that goes all the way in-front of the cabin.

This is pure beauty to my eyes. In my country the only place where I can see snow is in my freezer haha. As I told you is very warm here, and it never snows, it will take time but someday I will visit Europe and make some snow angels and snowballs (it doesn't matter if I'm not a child anymore, it looks funny xD)
I'm not used to cold climate, but I think it will be worth the freezing

I can guarantee you that it will come a lot more pictures from Norway from me :)
At the picture you see of the landskap here, it is 2 meter of snow, so we get a lot of it here.
You are very welcome to come visit us and make snow angels and start a snowball fight :)
And as you say we are used to the cold climate. This winter it dropped down to -30 degrees celcius for a week or so. So, getting ice cream is easy :)

Ja, det hadde vært hyggelig :) Hvor på Hardangervidda er det den ligger da? Jeg bor ikke så langt unna grensa til vidda, så det er jo faktisk ikke helt umulig å komme på en kopp kaffe, men det spørs jo på hvor den er :)

Ja, Langedrag kjenner jeg til. Det begynner å bli en god del år siden, men jeg var nå der en uke i skolesammenheng, men det er snakk om barneskolen, så det er en stund siden. Husker det var flotte skiområder der i alle fall, så sikkert en super plass å ha hytte ved :)

First of all really congratulations and in my opinion you have chose amazing place to build this cabin because this view is really breathtaking and eye-catching to watch and the ice is really reflecting as cherry on the cake effect.
