Hi folks.
I am building a new cabin up in the mountains here in Norway and finally I have got the date for when it will be finished.
So in light of that I thought it was time to bring back some old carpenter skills and build some new beds.
Just got the materials form the shop and into the garage
The cabin has four bedrooms so the plan is to build two, maybe three of the beds myself. In my younger years I took two years in school as a carpenter that makes furnitures, but that is 25 years ago so I am eager to see if I remember any thing form it.
Starting to put the wood together
Here in Norway it is still winter and snow and frost are laying on the ground. That irritates the heck out of me because this beauty are ment to be driven, not put away in the garage for 5 months of the year.

After some hours it manage to get the frame together. Now it is time to do some decor and wood carving before some paint to get it to look rustic.
Will come back with the final result as soon as it is done.

Need to cut of the top a bit and make the bed spoons for the madrass to lay on and then the fine art with carving out the wood starts.

The touch took a while, but after some hours it came back :)
It is a shame that this lovely bike can't be used now. Got to move to a place where it is warm all year around....Florida?? :)

That is so true @Leanvix, building things are really good meditation. The hours just flew buy and suddenly it was dinner time.
I will make a new post when the bed is finished.
That motorcycle is my life after my wife and daughters. Riding it in summer is my kind of meditation :)
