This is me venting

I'm pretty sure I'm lowballing when I say 9 out of 10 in our society, not just steemit have a huge lack of morale. This will probably reduce my followers, but the reason I have stopped posting the regular amount is because I have lost most my faith in humanity. Probably most of my followers have tuned out already because my passion and my amount of posts has decreased.
I'm really thankful to steemit and I think this is a great project, but like all great ideas most of the people who joins does in the interest of exploiting it. I do have met people here, helpful and very nice people, but the spammers is an absolute majority.
There's so many talented writers and artists on this site, but they get so much less than what they deserve because of immoral people buying in and exploiting one of the greatest consepts I've ever seen.
I still have high hopes, @ned is an absolute genius and I believe this platform is the true future of the internet, but we really need a way to get rid of the bad influences.
I have gotten to know many people on this platform that I respect more than most people I've met in real life.
I really hope we will get rid of the spammers and will get this platform back on track.
Since I am probably losing most of my followers already because my posting is getting more and more rare, I figured I might as well tell you why, though I'm pretty sure this will yield pretty much the same result.
For every day passing my faith in humanity is diminished slightly, but like I said, there are some people on here that truly gives me hope that there is decent people out there.
To further the possibility of losing followers, but explaining the reason I am kind of retreating from the platform, I'm slowly, but surely losing my faith in humanity.
Thankfully there are exceptions and people that actually engages in my posts though my SP is low, and I really enjoy reading their posts and they truly support me. I'm really grateful to all of you, and I will go down with the ship no matter what.

Steemit is absolutely the future of crypto, internet and social media and @ned is an absolute genius.

I will always keep on supporting this project that helps out people with special skill sets.

I'm in no way a talented person, but hopefully my sketches and competitions will entertain people on this platform, that's my main goal.

I truly believe in steemit, but between my lost faith and medication to deal with it, my energy is understatingly overworked, but I will always keep working for this platform.

Hopefully I will soon be doing a comeback (atleast posting some amateur art/sketches) and I will do a better job of engaging in other peoples work since that is what this platform is all about.

If you actually tolerated my ramble, I'm truly grateful and I will do all I can with my little SP to help steemit move forward.

Everyone keep on with your great work, though I use most of my voting on my own projects, I do find so much interesting reading material on this site.

It's probably not as bad as 9 out of 10, but there certainly are a lot of bad people out there, and sadly places like Steemit attracts a lot of these. Those who want to exploit the system for financial gain, and those whose opinions are too extreme for Facebook and Twitter, they come here instead. What I'm saying is that you shouldn't let the users of Steemit influence your view of humanity in general.

That said I don't exactly have the most faith in humanity myself. I have friends who go on about the importance of humans colonising other planets so our species can survive, and I don't really see why. Surely it would be the best for the universe if our species quarantine ourself here on Earth so it's the only planet we destroy.

Also I don't really believe Steemit in itself is the future of anything. It certainly has some interesting ideas and concepts, but because of the way it's designed it's too easily exploitable and attracts the wrong kinds of users. There are other sites in development that attempt to improve on the formula, so in time Steemit might fade into the shadow of something new and better.

It's the people I have met and my life experiences that has made me lose most of my faith in humanity. Steemit is actually kind of making me less of a cynic, but there are many leeches here that really annoys me.
Yeah people have a tendency to destroy anything they come across.
The steemit team is working hard to improve the platform, the code is also completely open so it may be similar and even better projects popping up. But the concept itself is pure gold.
There are also people taking it upon themselves to ruin bots by flagging them to death, but hopefully there will be a better system in place soon.
