This is a great addition to the magazine, I can't stand to watch people on tv anymore and get most of my news and insights from trusted Internet sources. I really think mainstream media and economists are misleading everybody about what's going on.

I'm glad @onebitnews feels the same way and will offer guidance!

Yes exactly @tbnfl4sun I noticed the same thing as you! to find true information on the internet it is necessary to make a great effort because most sources only say lies in good faith or in bad faith, for the other official media I can confirm that all the information they tell us are to reject.

I think the real speculation is about whether the crypto-market conform or correspond with the stock-market in anyway. I don't claim to have an answer. However, I'm under the impression that there are so many variables connected to any form of connection between these two, that it's hard to give a definite answer regardless.

I think what you are saying about about analytics and stomach feeling is spot on though. Not that I would trust any of these analytics in a more stable market either, just from experience with predictions from said analysts in i.e. stock market Norwegian championship. There are again just too many variables to pick out any sort of pattern in a day to day basis.

I do believe Global Index is a sure thing though. Relatively speaking, of course. I wouldn't bet to earn much in say 2018. But if one looks at long term investment as something spanning over several years or even decades, GI has proven to quite often give a safe return over long periods, with i.e. DNB's GI giving an avarage of about 7%/year over the last 10 years.

Personally I just stick to mining, for now. So it makes little difference to me if Steem is $3 one day, and $8 the next. However, any trustworthy long term prediction in regard to Steems value would of course be valuable. I do trust the credibility of IBN, given that @gyldernhorn has given me the impression that it's ran by skilled people whom's abilities he seem to trust. And I trust his judgement. After all, he taught me everything I know about Steem.

It will be curious to see you coming back to this AI, and more detail as of how this works. I'm going to follow your Economy pages closely, because you do seem to be the closest one can come to credible predictions in the crypto and especially Steem market. Thanks for the article! It will be interesting to see how everything devlops.

Vanskelig å debatere kryptovalutta med folk.

De som er inne tungt vil ikke høre negative sider om det. De som ikke er inne vil bare diskutere negative sider.

Som alltid ligger svaret et sted imellom disse to standpunktene.

Jeg tror vi vil se kryptovalutta fremover. Men det kommer ikke til å være Bitcoin tror jeg.

Jeg er helt enig med deg at krypto har kommet for å bli, men Bitcoin er nok en av de som på sikt ikke kommer til å overleve, hvis de da ikke får kontroll på blokjeden sin. Det skal jo være flere som jobber med å løse dette nå, men det er vanskelig å repparere en bil som kjører på motorveien. Og å parkere BTC for en stund slik at det ikke blir mulig å bruke den tror jeg vil være døden.
Blir kjempe spennende å følge med på markedet fremover.

Så klart vi ønsker å følge med hele veien opp:-) Det er helt normalt at det skal være svingninger i markedet og korreksjoner må til. Jeg har studert eiendomsmarkedet i Norge i forholde til verdi utvikling de siste 100 årene og selv om akjsje markedet og boligprisene har hatt sine krakk. Så henter det seg alltid opp. Ta en bolig f. Eks bygget i 1957. Den gang kostet den 57.000 som ny. Boligen ble solgt i 2014 for 1.780.000. Det er en meget hyggelig avkastning. Normalt sett går boligmarkedet opp 7-8 % i året noe som igjen da gir en teoretisk dobling hvert 10 år. Aksje markedet har en noe tilsvarene utvikling. Selvfølgelig er det forskjell på risiko markedet og trygge havner. Crypto markedet er ennå ungt og vil trolig oppleve flere store svingninger, men min påstand er at svingningene cover tid vil bli mindre og at utviklingen lenger frem i tid vil tilsvare en vekst på ca 10% i året i snitt:-) Det vil nok drøye noen år før markedet roer seg og vil trolig ha en drastisk vekst de første årene med korreksjoner slik som nå underveis

Godt å se du følger på :)
Svingninger i markedet vil vi se i hele år, men vi mener at i slutten av året vil kursen være mye høyere en den er i dag.
Som du nevner også så vil stort sett alle marked stige over tid og her er jo boligmarkedet ett godt eksempel.
Men, som du nevner er kryptomarkedet ungt ennå og vil ha en drastisk vekst de neste årene og vi tror STEEM og Steemit samfunnet er en av de som er vinnerne av de mange forskjellige kryptovalutaene. Så bare til å hodle så lenge som mulig :)

At the beginning of 2017, the cryptocurrency market was only worth $ 17 billion. Today, it is worth 640 billion - a value almost multiplied by 40.

As you said @onebitnews no one will be able to know exactly the future of the markets.

But even if each of us can have a presentiment or its own forecasts, I think we will witness a massive and inevitable "crash" in the weeks / months that will come, and the mainstream press will rehearse its classic "Bitcoin is dead". But soaring prices will resume shortly thereafter.

In any case we will know if I am wrong or not lol.

I think you have right in that the market wil "crash" and I think that it was going on now. Soon the market will pick up again, and therafter there wil be another "crash" but not so low as now. This wil go on during this year. But we will see a higher value after each "crash" So we are holding on to our STEEM.

Noen tanker på om det er lurt å konvertere steem dollars til steem nå, eller om man bør vente litt?

Forsøker fokusere på å "power up", men har avventet litt med noen smådollars jeg har. Ser at prisen har gått ned 20% på 2 dager.

Noen som har en kvalifisert gjetning på dette?

Nå har jo SBD gått forbi STEEM igjen så man skulle jo tro at det var ett greit tidspunkt.
Jeg selger SBD stort sett de gangene jeg får den. Da selger jeg både på topp og bunn og på den måten tror jeg at jeg treffer midten av det som er lurt på sikt.

SBD er et hett tema med mange ulike meninger. Noen mener at verdien kommer til å skyte i været, andre mener at den kommer til å falle ned til $1 igjen, og noen mener at den vil holde seg nokså stabil i forhold til Steem med en 1:1 ration. Men selvsagt er det ingen som egentlig vet noe som helst. Vitnene som styrer blokkjeden snakker om å implementere en strengere "peg" for å tvinge verdien ned til $1, men hvorvidt de går for denne nokså drastiske løsningen er for tidlig å si.

Så her må man nesten bare ta en sjanse på å gå for det man føler for! Selv føler jeg at det er en svært vanskelig krypto å skulle spekulere i.

Jeg solgte (det lille jeg hadde) av andre coins, og kjøpte Steem for alt. Dette var faktisk en lettelse! Jeg "slipper" nå å følge med på verdien dag for dag, og jeg kan heller bruke tiden min på å lese og poste på Steemit.

Jeg mener at dette er en mye bedre måte (for min del) å være en del av kryptovalutaen. Jeg lærer masse nytt om alle mulige tema, samtidig som jeg kan dele egne erfaringer og få tilbakemeldinger på dette.

Det blir spennende i årene som kommer. Hadde jo ikke vært så værst om Steem skulle stige kraftig i løpet av noen år. Kanskje det kunne hjulpet litt på huslånet etterhvert :p

Jeg har selv kun STEEM som jeg har powret opp. Og det er veldig deilig å slippe å følge med på kurser o.l på ander valutaer. Nå hender det jeg kikker innom Coinmarketcap en gang i blant bare for å se hvordan det står til med STEEM og SBD. Men, siden jeg er ganske så sikker på at STEEM er den riktige valutaen å ha så tar jeg også alle svigninger med stor ro.
Bare til å tenke seg når samfunnet vårt her inne passer de første 10 millioner brukere. Da kan vi snakke verdier da :)
Jeg har som mål å pensjonere meg på STEEM om noen år, så verdien har bare å stige inn i himmelen.

I think the fact that cryptomarket has become part of the macroeconomic image is a good thing because governments won't ban cryptocurrencies in the future. Because if a country do, it will lose in the world economic competition. They will take measures like those taken by South Korea (banning anonymous trading, prevent minors from opening new cryptocurrency accounts…) but won't ban it totally.

It is too hard to be answered correctly by any specialist in this year due to maximum up and down occurs within a short period ..that makes someone rich or poor in a short time. that is happening because crypto...lol ..here i gave a chart where maximum change occurs within short period.
