Title '.PY thonCat goes to school'

in not •  6 years ago  (edited)

the point is to see if i can manage to read a txtfile to var and post it as a post

which would make this whole thing kiddieboo in python so i'm expecting this not to go at the first time

the point is (there's more points ? yes i live in several dimensions at once like a pack of schroëdinger cat nests who are a little bit of everything at once but nothing really cool or special (like your classic autist-in-movies would be : a specialist ... or like your classic CEO in reality would be : a sociopath ... that's not me)

i am the cat that walks by himself and all places are alike to me, im not against suggesting things if i think something could be done better but if im ignored i dont bother as in general in my experience

people = shit (@ slipknot) and me ->

allright let's see ...

found a file that claims to work at amosbastion/steempy-tutorials (how is this steempy ? ah steempy cli <> steempy where steempy = steem-python, right)
(yea microhub where you put all your code so they can steal it for windows and sue you afterwards for copyright infringement if you use it haaaha Satellius, where's my onedrive data, mate ?)

so ... def means function ?

euhm

stored as array ? title = post[0] -> var title = line 0 var tags=line 1, looks pretty forward-ish

some kind of piping i suppose post = [line.rstrip('\n') for line in open('pythoncat.txt')]
strip al newlines on each line read from post.txt and put in variable "post" (without signs huh ? wow, for a guy who writes programs like a stitched togetherzombie full of sticky notes like me thats VERY dangerous)
or replace all newlines with actual \n ? i'll see i guess

var body = all lines from line 2 joined together at newline ?

transactionbuilder would be the thing that removes the need for cryptography by hand ?

as i dont know how to comment i'll remove what i think is the line that calls the function to upvotebot (probably simply sending a transaction with a memo, now , does it takes from steempy or do i need to put those in the script ?

  File "test.py", line 58
    run()
      ^
IndentationError: expected an indented block

indentation error ??? wtf, like ... no need for dollarsigns or semicolons but a tab is not visible but necessary? let me google that

no need, its a tab so all that bullshit about non-delimited means everything looks like its not a variable and you dont need a colon at the end but a tab at the front

so whats the fucking difference? other than that it eats memory like jabba the hut's mindworms ?

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "test.py", line 58, in <module>
    run()
  File "test.py", line 49, in run
    post = [line.rstrip('\n') for line in open('post.txt')]
FileNotFoundError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'post.txt'

hmm that would make sense since the file is named differently

[EDIT]

the instructions are somewhat lacking it looks like it auto-upvoted after posting which

maybe is the part where it says

"true"

steem.post(title, body, author, permlink, None, None, None, None, tags, None, True)

lemme try another one, now i'm officially a github clown, or am i ?

totally pythonized but still not using in-crowd language or shaking hands with the trending section

(which i call "sucking the whale-dick") im not stopping anyone but as they say

best artists arent always blessed with best paint and its your rep that sells you as if your name was HO

maar even

i gotto down the autovoter until its rechaaarged

so that's my hello world in python3 then

yay me !

talk about easy as goblin-pie ... so what's all the fuss about ? it looks like dangerously close to reading a potter novel without any clear signs of what's what to me
