The 1984 album “New Sensations” was the most upbeat Lou Reed album in years. Not only did Lou evince warmth and positivity, but his songs transmitted those optimistic vibes to the listeners.

In this track, Lou begins by relating some horrible situations, such as when your body is deteriorating or when your loved ones are disappearing. But he’s quick to remind us that, ultimately, you will always be loved, and you will always have support.
