Hot Girls Wanted is an Insult to Porn

So! thought I'd share my STRONG opinions on HOTGIRLS WANTED the movie, and the subsequent series they created...
Ugh. God where to start...??

Firstly it was a terrible and biased view of the adult porn industry. They chose the worst studio they possibly could and made it seem that all studios are like this. Terrible! It was sensationalized to all hell and presented all porn stars as victims and exploited.
Bulllshit.
The girls in this movie? They were exploited for wanting quick money and not doing ANY research into what they were getting themselves into. Maybe porn studios should be better regulated so that THESE kinds of studios stop existing, but ultimately doing porn is a big decision. It shouldn't be taken lightly, ever. And this movie didn't suggest a conversation or give fair perspective it painted a narrative that demonized all adultwork.
Also how do you answer a model gig show up at a studio to do PORN and not just back out of that?! If the ad was misleading you could have just left, not stayed and done porn and played it off like you were mislead..into fucking..for money ...on camera ><

What about all the studios that have great adult workers and respect their models? They are much more the norm in porn. And people profiting off of painting a false narrative about a subject that is already hotly debated in a society that oppresses sexuality is....nothing new.
It was like "porn filtered thru your grammys super oldschol biased eyes"
I also find it VERY offensive that Rashida Jones claims to be a sexual educator while also putting adultworkers at risk...
For example in the episode they did about CAMGIRLS they stole footage from camgirls without asking consent claimed it was free use and fair and put it on their show. One of these girls was outed to her family as friend as a result [wow thanks! you care so much about sex workers!!] and although many will argue when you cam its public you get recorded yadda yadda, getting recorded for few hundred views on a tube site is one thing. Showing up unknown to you on a Netflix show is entirely another.
Another camgirl who was featured on the show asked them not to use her real name....but they did anyways.

They may be legally allowed to do what they did, but don't tell me you're pro sex when you don't care about the rights of the people fighting to make sex more accepted [yep the adult workers!] their personal limits or consent when using their likeness to promote your show. Thats utter shit.

I'm not exploited or oppressed. I love camming and adultwork, it changed my life in many ways, and has changed the lives of many people I know for the good.
