Looking back, it’s a funny story.
First of all– yes, I follow some fictional idol groups, sue me. I don’t particularly care what I follow, as long as I like the music. The character portrayed is Ashuu Yuuta, from the fictional group Thrive, one of the four units available on B-project.
(Side note: I didn’t understand K-pop fans until I stumbled upon these boys, lmao.)
Yuuta is my personal favorite, but I didn’t decide to draw him out of the blue. Truth be told, it all comes down back to a fanfic I found, good hooked (mostly by its humorous nature) and somehow became in friendly with the author on twitter.
Anyway, their fic lightened my mood during very stressing days, so one day I was like: “ahh, I want to draw.” And the first thing that came to my mind was that fic. So I ended making a quick doodle during practice, which looked as awful as my doodle of Karonji. Next day I was like: “oh god, what did I do.” And wanted to redraw it.
However, I basically changed the whole thing and made a complete different drawing, but I’m not complaining of the results… xD
It is a very nice portrait although I do not know the character or this style of music.

I think that's the hairstyle fault, it's supposed to be supper fluffy so the head ends looking bigger than intended xDD
