Tech Priestess, handcut collage 50/70cm.

Another character from the Homo Mechanicus Project which is one of my biggest collage series. I think it consists of 25 artworks of various sizes and took more that a year to complete it. This time it is a simple portrait but with a lot of work in the details. The hair and the eyes are made of a sport car front lights cut one by one and pasted as scales on the artwork. Again this a handcut collage made out of prints pasted with stick glue on a black hardboard.

Luckily i found some photos from a past exhibition and you can also see Mecha LIsa which i sold and forgot to take a good photo before.

Masterful work. Has an ancient Egyptian flavour for me. Strong and piecing.

Thank you very much @axeman:)

Your design is very nice, everything very robotico, I would love to see the other pieces, I see why you have taken so long, with so many details that it must take time.

I like the eyes and the curious thing is that they are of different colors. :)

I am very happy that you like it Carmen:) Yes there were a lot of timeconsuming details but the truth is that i liked this project a lot and stayed on it. The eyes are my favourite detail too:)

Making collage by hand should be a difficult job, cut and cut wow, that would tire my fingers.
I like it a lot as you do it, it's amazing! 😍🤗

Yes it is true, your fingers hurt a little at first but later you get used to it.Thank you so much my dear Carmen, i am glad that you like it:)

You are active today 😂😉! hehehehe
I almost do not use the scissors because I have clumsy hands, I tend to cut myself with all heheheheh.

If I like it a lot, I see the love you put in each of your pieces. 😍🤗

Another masterpiece of handcut collage @georgeboya I had never seen this art technique before seeing your artworks and you totally open my eyes and blow my mind with your master level !

It is an honor to hear it @livvu:) I am also teaching my collage technique and in the future i will present beautiful artwork from my students too:)

Wow that's great @georgeboya I'm looking forward to seeing beautiful artworks from my students ❤❤

I absolutely love your work. Each one a masterpiece of its own. Plus collage has always been a favorite technique and I don't know anybody who has mastered it to the degree you did!

You really honor me @reinhard-schnid:) You know that i adore your artwork and it is the greatest compliment to hear this from you. Thank you:)

Absolutely beautiful work, it is not easy to recognize that hair are done from the lights of cars, that must be really sizeable original project. Like the idea about Mecha LIsa. Great fantasy and good works!

Thank you very much @stef1:) Yes i was really into it for a long time, even made stories about the characters. Now i think i will rework them digitally and give them motion and new life:)

These are really amazing. I love your use of light colour in the metallic bits.

The mech mona lisa is brillant.

Thank you very much Donna:) I wish i had some more photos of Mecha Lisa, she came put so nice and weird.

Καλησπερα Νικο. Σε ευχαριστω παρα πολυ:):)

Aaah wonderful reinterpretations with the MechaLisa, George :) And I like the Tech Priestess very much... her veil/shroud reminds me at once of fish's scales and the chain mail of the medieval era <3 Must have been a painstaking affair but also one that was a labour of love * ___ *

(Sorry if you see a few of my comments trailing, I'm just now catching up on commenting after I returned from holiday hahaha)

Oh, holidays are over.. I hope you had a great time and recharged your batteries😊 Yes, it had a lot of work but it is one of my favourite. Now I am working on an animation based on it, again a lot of work but I am really excited to see the final result. Thank you for your kind words @veryspider 😊😊
