It's What's For Dinner. Live Food Shopping in Dalian China

Sometimes when I go to the big food markets I feel like I'm visiting a pet shop.

I was shopping at Carrefour, a French brand with a huge stake in China. It is one of my favourite places for groceries because they have a pretty good imported food section compared to other places, lot's of stuff from France. My phone was at 3% power so couldn't take more but I promise future post with more photos.

Too fat to jump out. I don't mind eating frog if it's served but I've never craved it. It's not so bad really but so many small bones when fried Chinese style. I've never had it western style so I can't compare.

I've never eaten Soft Shelled Turtle I would try it if it was offered but I'm not about to order or cook it myself.

Think I will rather keep to your chocolate chip cookies and milk, thanks. I cannot even imagine trying any of these delicacies out.
