In order to remain in great health, it’s important to feed the body nutrients that actually fuel you instead of adding empty calories that have zero nutritional value.

Tonight’s dinner is a bowl of spinach topped with grilled chicken, hard boiled eggs, and light Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing. Delicious.

Fun fact: Did you know that all the energy we have on Earth originated from the sun? The sun light not only provides heat, but it transfers energy to our vegetation, allowing us to eat it and fuel our cells.

I like that fact of the day that you provided @kenmelendez and I have found that I am craving for unhealthy food a lot less, now that I am taking enough vitamins and getting proper nutrients in the shakes that I drink.

You might experience the same thing as you eat healthier, and healthier food.

I still eat a normal meal that I normally ate before though, but it is once a day now instead of 3 times a day.

Yes, working on training my body to burn more fat for fuel and lose about 15 lbs by Spring time. Not eating just to eat anymore which is nice. What does your daily intake look like?

I eat a lot of stir-frys with vegetables and meat (usually chicken). I also eat a lot of white rice. There are 2 things that China has changed me in. In the morning I eat a bowl of millet porridge. Have you ever had that before? It is very nutritious and healthy. The taste is a little bland but not as bland as oatmeal. However, since it is high in carbs, you might choose not to eat it at this time. Chinese people eat it often for breakfast and to improve digestion. Millet is kind of like quinoa.

Another thing that Chinese people swear by is drinking hot water. Over here, they believe that cold water is bad for your health. As a result, water is usually served hot. I recently started incorporating cups of hot water into my daily life and I can tell that it is really helpful. I stimulates your digestion and I believe it can help you lose more weight. I especially feel it works well when you drink it at night before going to bed.
