Last year I met a woman I named "The Rock Whisperer" along The Hudson River. She spends hours balancing stones, one on top of another, creating magical natural sculptures, held together only by energy. It would be one thing to view such works of energetic art in a secluded garden or a museum, but the dichotomy of such a strong energetic interaction between human & earth against the backdrop of NYC high rises, hustle-bustle & cement makes her art / skill that much more amazing

That's really cool. I can't imagine the patience it takes to stack rocks like that.

She's amazing & spends literally hours 'talking' to the rocks. They stand in storms, wind, rain....it's amazing.
This is the first year I've seen her work in the winter ~

I think if I was a kid and ran up on this I would believe I entered a magical place. LOL

Even as an adult that's what I think :) It's so otherworldly ...but then again, so much of The Hudson is ~
