The OpenLedger team has been systematically and strategically walking companies through ICO's for years. If it's launched through OL it's legit. In fact it feels like they are choosing to represent companies that create a very real interwoven fabric and collaboration behind blockchain.
Because they do all of these ICO's they have created a NEW token call ICOO.

When I realized what they were trying to do with these high quality ICO's and by pre-saleing them on their exchange Openledger.io, I started throwing all my bts at it (other than what I need to trade). This is their long term investment coin and I see a VERY bright future for them. If you want OL to ICO you contact @ronnyboesing Good luck!

yes, there's a lot coming up!

Congrats! I love this, but I keep looking at it in terms of the value of BitShares and it seems to lag behind a bit (understandably). Do you see this as a chicken and egg problem? I.e. OpenLedgers is needed to bring value to BitShares so people invest in it which then (eventually) drives up the price of OBITS? I bought just a handful of OBITS a while ago just to support the project, and I like seeing the USD value go up, but sometimes I think, "Heh, should have bought more BitShares instead." I assume the price of OBITS will go down (in USD terms) as BTS goes down and vice versa.

I think a good argument can be made just for buying OBITS as a way to support the value Open Ledger brings.

OBITS is not deeply connected to BTS though. there are a lot of projects feeding revenue to OBITS, not all of them are based on bitshares :)

I'm still trying to wrap my head around it all. Thanks for clarifying.

Thanks!

Amazing!!

amazing times right now hahaha
i'm so excited to be in the chain finally

There were others like NXT, SYS, GRS, NLG that were also up, with Nxt being one of the few actually up against the USD. Neverthelss, a very nice downdraft it was/is, but I think alts in general held up better than they did a couple of weeks ago, with some like these doing very well. A good place to find winners is looking for strength in weakness.

Those BTS targets I talked about before are back on the table. The 61.8 has held for now and the hourly technicals have gone bullish with the underlying daily very bullish. I might even add back to my remaining position if I get a clear chance.

This thing looks like a monster.
