Where was Somalia? | ¿Dónde quedó Somalia? [English - Español]

in objection •  7 years ago  (edited)

Lately we have seen and heard news of terrorist attacks more often, political and religious differences are becoming larger, for example leaders of great empires such as Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un create a kind of conversational war with great threats, in April we witnessed the news of the shooting in Paris by the Islamic State and in August deponents of the attack of Catalonia by the same perpetrators.

I would bet that more than half of the planet is aware of the most novel thing that has happened on Earth with respect to the topics named above, which can be and were a warning against thousands of innocents. Also if you did not find out by news media, on TV or radio, you learned about social networks, where pages like Facebook give you the tool to put a "little flag" giving false support and regret to the deceased.

Now I wonder, Where was Somalia? There are no innocent people dead there? More than 300 people died and more than 350 people were injured, a great misfortune for many people who have families and children, but this is not news, it is only news developed or developing, while the others who go to the shit.

Many will say: "What do you want me to do? What to cry?" NO, it's not about that, it's about regretting what happened in a sincere and not fashionable way. I imagine the big news chains: "Somalia does not sell, better not transmit that" without taking into account that it is a serious event in the world.

My protest in this publication is the fad that invades us; everything happens to be part of a fashion of days, to which only what is sold is transmitted, the privileged are the places where they move much capital and the humanism that we are losing each day.

Ahora me pregunto, ¿Dónde quedó Somalia?
