It is learned that in the meeting of the OIC on Saturday, Bangladesh Foreign Minister Abul Hasan Mahmud Ali urged reforms in the organization so that without the majority of the Muslim majority, India could be the observer of the OIC.

It was argued in the meeting that Egypt's population was 9 0 million. But the country represents only about 5 percent of the Muslim world. On the other hand, on the basis of the Muslim population, India's position in the world after Indonesia and Pakistan, in third place.

Mahmud Ali said there are many countries who are not members of the OIC but a large part of their citizens are Muslims. Although Muslims are minorities in those countries, their Muslim population is more than the OIC member states.
