Why telegram is not welcomed in Georgia?

in occupants •  7 years ago

Because they are listing Abkhazia as a separate country. Abkhazia is a Georgian territory and currently it is a region of conflict. Abkhazia IS NOT recognized by international community as an independent state. This is a Georgian territory occupied by Russia. Abkhazia is an autonomous republic and a part of Georgia. De jure Abkhazia is Georgia and it is not correct to put it on the list as a separate country.

Same is for South Ossetia, another territory of Georgia occupied by Russia

This action from Telegram can be classified as same as to list Spanish Catalonia separately or Chechnya as an independent state and separate from Russia.
But look what we get when we search for Chechnya:

No search results.

Dear PAVEL DUROV,

Did you read the post? Now ask me if I care about their "best policy". Why Viber, Facebook, Twitter, Google or other big internet companies are not listing Abkhazia and Ossetia?
Now ask me again: Do I fuckin care about their "best policy"?

Informative post. I think this post help Georgia. Is not it?

Difficult to say that this will help, but it is a form of protest. I am showing my disrespect to Telegram and its BOSS Pavel Durov since they do not respect my Country by violating international diplomacy and everything else in terms of politics and law.
