it comes down to less than €3 a day , maybe €2 - €2.5 ... compared to what you would have if you grow it thats still a lot and in some countries you could probably eat 3 to 5 days for the oneday price of this (meat excluded ofcourse, who the hell can afford meat anymore ? nice trick, vegans !)

the food is delicious though, growing this quality at hoem without specialized equipment and pro greenhouses would be REALLY hard, especially if you're anti-poison like ourselves ...

the snails (the souls of the dead, hence the salt) would have it all before it would even grow unless VERY labor intensive

its repeatable though, at belgian prices , not SO much more expensive and for social people (which i used to be) you can split and order with the neighbours, which makes deliver cost like zit

no one delivers bread at home

(as a kid when i was living with my grandparents, its like EVERYTHING was delivered, guys were riding round vans/trucks for bread, butchers, groceries, vegetables, the milkman ...

it was like amazon only , 100 people made money from it except one ... (relatively speaking since at 1 million a minute its probably more than 100, given the fact that dollars despite their mutable supply are limited in number, every 1 million a minute is 1 million humans not getting a dollar that minute - something about vacuums, newton and thermodynamics)

And so ... not that there was food-shortage , its just none of those people had cars, most didnt even have a moped, just a bicycle. Grandpa grew his own stuff, lived through two wars, POW in a nazi labour camp in ww2 , made it out and home alive - never talked much about it. The crops his pride (all his handiwork ...) just as good as you'll find in any specialty veggie store ... the garden must have been his cave i think ...

Chickens grown so fat one of them once succumbed to a heart attack ... les lapins, the occasional pig ... you know

if you seen a couple slaughters you've seen them all but if you hear that pig squel, you see that chicken without a head dancing , you see how the other chickens go BERZERK over entrails and eyes of their little friend that was in the middle of them just 15 minutes ago - (30 ? nah, thats after the burning and boiling) - the old man was an expert at it ...

Never cared much for eating rabbit since they're so cute but you do know what you're eating when you know that squal, that jerk , that berzerk and, you see the rabbitman (its a guy who did nothing else) hang them upside down and slit their throat to bleed them before butchering ...

then you know whats on your plate

So other than that all the delivery guys had the freshest stuff, the bread was often still warm from the oven, the veggies top quality . If you have 1000 1man or family biz you need honour in your stuff, if you have one amazos then WHERE YOU GONNA GO

yea the bread well, since i bake "onemeal-buns" my feeding has changed, i used to bake bread like a whole loaf or a small one (since, even at foolly vaccinated with a homeless vaccine that as claimed by the own manufacturer protects 60% from delta , with my arm still sore one month later and to the best of my knowledge not having been sick with it yet so 0.0 memory cells ... i kinda dont feel its time yet , even if the gov't makes a political decision b/C the polls are showing the far right is HUGELY POPULAR , (no change from last time actually when they formed the xteenth 50party coalitiion government, which OFCOURSE cant possible be "as strong" as a small coalition or a one party, i mean look at the mericans, its bipartisan and they're having a fucking civil war thats like got ALL of it xept the shootin')

so ... i started baking onemeal buns and

its like im the kid again who gets the "ovenbun" from the delivery man (the dough thats leftover got baked into small buns they gave away, hard to fathom in a year where squatters would get convicted for emptying a container full of food that spoils that day because its theft)

that was a great idea by me

would be nice to live in a place where i can set it out on the pavement for those "its only €25" people ... remembering what they serve on restaurant for how much money to the yuppies (and the aforementioned) from when i was someone with a bit of cash in my pocket and 150 people in my phone ... of which i definitely remembered at least 60 since i was a very social being

and just set it out like "who wants some, its ONLY €24"

while still sitting in the back doing some light afternoon tea coding
