OKADA YUKIKO DOCUMENTARY [FULL]

This is a feature-length documentary originally made in April-August 2016 and split into three parts. It centers around the life and career of Japanese idol Okada Yukiko, who met an untimely death in 1986 via suicide. No one knows the reason for it even today, but the documentary provides evidence and insight into why it may have occurred. A great amount of information previously unknown to the English-speaking world is uncovered in this documentary, through extensive research of primary Japanese sources translated by me.

The original documentary was posted in three parts on YouTube originally, but parts 2 and 3 were taken down as a result of unfair copyright strikes by TBS. This documentary clearly abides by fair use copyright laws, so there is no reason for its removal. Thus, I am uploading the full version here for all to enjoy.

Thirty years ago, idol Okada Yukiko jumped off the Sun Music agency building in a desperate attempt to take her own life. Unfortunately, she was successful.
Outside of Japan, not much is known about Yukko, aside from her music and her death. In this video series, we will document her short life in its entirety, beginning from her birth and ending with her legacy beyond death.
