Are old people permitted to misbehave?

Right from when I was a little child and even till now, a lot of people call me a critic. I agree with them, I mean, I can't just sit still and let some people do horrible things and walk away with it without at least commenting..

Yea, I know no one is perfect, (moi included) and I also know our standards for judging people vary, that is why I always ask for your opinion at the end of most of my write-ups.

Back to the main issue for the day... An old woman boarded my bus, and when it was time for her to pay, she gave the conductor #50 instead of #100. The conductor stated shouting on the woman, and some passengers started taking sides.

I was shocked and kept watching the drama.

The old woman's argument was that they should try to pity her as she is old and that is all she had... bla bla bla.

So yea, I understand that she did not have enough cash, no problem.

But then, why should she take a bus without informing the conductor of her predicament first, knowing fully well that she did not have the complete money?

Funny enough, when the conductor refused to receive the half payment, the woman started to appeal to the passengers to pay for her, blessing the person that would volunteer to pay it.

It was a man that paid for her o, and she started thanking and blessing him.

After she left, a lot of people started discussing it, and while some of them were blaming her, others defended her.

What is your opinion?

Do you think the fact that she is an old woman, she had the right to do what she did?
