black and white landscape

this is one of the black and white landscape study from a few years ago.
i was taking a free class on how to draw nature and landscape and in that class we were told to draw with black and white so we understand values before we move on to colors.
i drew a mountain like structure in the middle of the ocean like structure and there are some foreground stones there too
