A traditional Mediterranean diet

(from Southern European countries) consisting of fruits, vegetables, herbs, nuts, seeds, legumes, tomatoes (seedless and skinless*) and some fish but no red meat nor dairy, sugar, processed foods, refined grains etc results in a significantly lower risk of prostate, breast, colon, and gastric cancer (3, 1).

A whole-food, plant-based diet is key to fighting disease

like diabetes, heart disease, and cancer. Some plants, like olives** are super-foods. Organic, non-GMO, extra virgin*** olive oil is high in monounsaturated fat (oleic acid) and contains phenols, flavonoids, and anti-oxidants like similar plants, but it also contains oleosides - found only in plants of the Oleacea family like the olive tree (Olea europaea L). These oleosides can suppress the functional traits of cancer stem cells like epigenetic deactivation and downregulation of cancer-causing genes(2).

A Western diet has too much omega-6 compared to omega-3

and too much saturated animal fat. A Mediterranean diet is more balanced with less omega-6 and more omega-3, and less saturated animal fat. Although fish/seafood is a common source of omega-3 in the Mediterranean, this could be supplemented with hemp/cannabis as a vegan alternative. Not only is it a nutritious alternative, cannabis oil cures cancer.

You are what you eat

and smoke/vape, think and do! Other practices like exercise, meditation, oxygenation, love, stress reduction, etc also play a role in health. Stay tuned for more alternative medicine/nutrition research.

Notes:

*To remove lectins.

**I’ve read conflicting evidence on whether pickled or fermented olives are carcinogenic or actually prophylactic. What do you think?

***Extra virgin meaning mechanically pressed without solvents

So, eat like the Italians, with a few exceptions :) Don't drink wine - alcohol causes cancer, cannabis cures cancer, so smoke weed instead. Cannabis has way more antioxidants than wine. Also, what's wrong with fresh grapes, don't they have antioxidants, too? ;) Gonna upvote this when we regain steem lol

If you infuse your wine with weed does it cancel out the carcinogenic effects? Please say yes because I can’t give up my wine!

Yeah plants are lookin great!

Plants looking great!

Oh yeah. Cannabis oil, hemp oil, and olive oil go so good together, don't they? :)
