And the countries (or individual athletes, perhaps) that can afford air conditioners will gain another advantage over athletes from poorer countries.
Of course the Olympics can never be separated from politics, but this need to make everything about climate change gets wearisome, so I'm amused by the countries refusing to play along. But let's be honest - this is just one example of how climate policy will disadvantage poorer countries compared to rich countries.
