The finish line is in sight...
We are continuing to make progress toward our launch.
Perhaps the most important and exciting news is that we received notification on 17 October that our patent application has been approved by the US Patent and Trademark Office. That means we will have some protections from anyone else that tries to build a similar business. And, it also means that potential investors will take us more seriously.
The patent should be issued by the end of the year.
We have also been putting the finishing touches on our "social influencer" marketing system. This is our program of rewards for OmniBazaar users who refer their friends. It allows people with social influence (like you) to earn immediate bonuses and a percentage of every purchase or sale made by the people you refer. This feature will help make OmniBazaar unique among internet marketplaces, and it should help us grow the business quickly.
We have reached the point where we are now ready to start accepting "beta testers" to help us iron out any remaining bugs in the system. Beta testers receive early access to the software and a supply of (beta-test) OmniCoins to use for testing. We are also working on our support site. That site includes a knowledge base of information and frequently asked questions about OmniBazaar and OmniCoin. I am anxious to improve the quantity and quality of answers in the knowledge base.
