Putin showed off his virtuosity during the international ‘One Belt, One Road’ forum in Beijing. He arrived at the official residence of Chinese President Xi Jinping, and played Moskovskie Okna (Moscow Windows), and the unofficial anthem of his native city – Leningrad.

So what is One Belt One Road?

OBOR Project is Making the World a Safer Place

it would be more accurately described by the term “network”, since there is not a single route connecting Europe and Asia. OBOR is going to transform all the main trade routes of the Eurasian continent. The group of 17 European countries that have a direct rail link with China has recently been joined by the UK. On April 12, 2017, the first freight train was sent from England to China. Its 7500 miles long journey started in Stanford-le-Hope, England, and stretched across the territories of seven states – France, Belgium, Germany, Poland, Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan. The road ends in the Chinese city of Yiwu, Zhejiang 浙江省義烏市. This ambitious project is not only promoting economic growth, but also strengthens peace in different regions of the world. World's biggest building project aims to make China great again

“China’s greatest strengths are financial – it has enormous economic muscle – and building infrastructure. So it is putting those things together and using its economic diplomacy to build roads, railways, ports, powerlines that will help integrate Asia and puts China at the centre of Asia.” (https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/may/12/chinese-president-belt-and-road-initiative/)
