Good post! ... I agree 100% ... I'm under the impression that a great many who use DTube already have preferences towards a certain niche. About 8 to 10 years ago I wrote professionally for a US client; which meant I had to research and write on subjects... I had mostly free rage in terms of what I wrote but it had to be on the subject... My former client had already a niche established and that was the only thing he wanted... Most people do not actually research their subjects other than going to a single source like Youtube and watching a video or two and then writing their own opinions with absolutely no citing of materials, basically plagiarizing themselves. Producing a DTube video that is only of an opinion means that anyone can give their opinion... Don't get me wrong it has it's place like your video! ... You are adding REAL VALUE by saying there is a REAL need for more selection and asking people to create more content just of wider range of interest. << That is good ... My opinion having wrote professionally is that to produce a DTube video that is of substance that is informative, meaningful, and is in simple plain speech means individuals NEED to write an ESSAY on the subject of at least 1,000 words that has been proof read and corrected ... THEN make a video from that content providing citation... Otherwise if you do not create an ESSAY as a guideline and go off script complicated issues become overly hard to follow and understand by viewers and oneself... I take it kawaiicrush that you have your grade 11 or 12 ... Do you remember writing Essays and how your teachers would grade your paper? ... Write to that quality is what I think DTubers need to do BEFORE they post their videos... The mentality of writing for money needs to end or at least not be only other factor of DTube(ers) posts as the end result is quick short videos with no actual meaning or value to viewers... Or long videos that have a person sitting for 20 or more minutes talking in circles being overly vague and giving opinions... Maybe put out a daily post asking viewers of DTube to speak on a specific subject and be a facilitator to answer you back via a DTube post of theirs instead of writing back to you like I am... Make a list of issues YOU want first THEN ask you followers to create and upload their videos as a reply to your subjects that range daily, weekly, and monthly... Saying I want my viewers to engage me and actually do a little research that would take a couple of hours really is not out of line, considering to have an opinion means you need to have some exposure to such content... People's opinions are fine after they do the research on the subject, not before.

I really enjoyed your well thought out comment. I am not sure what you mean about my level of education. I did not know that ones education of lack there of had anything to do with creating content. I never claimed to be the best writer in the world. I am far from it as I am sure you can tell. I am just a person who enjoys the world around me. Thank you for your heart felt comment. I love how you think. Thank you for your contribution to my video. I will strongly consider your suggestions. You have my support my friend.

I never meant anything negative regarding yourself or meant to insult you.

I followed you my friend. I am not insulted. I just wanted to better understand your question. Or at least the reason for it. At any rate you are most welcome to join me any day of the week for a lovely thought provoking comment such as was left by you previously!

Many who post videos do not actually write on the subject they proclaim their expertise within... Many times I see, in my opinion, people who do not know how to do proper research and who also do not know how to write, or write well enough... So the process of doing basic research gets ignored and instead people take a video of themselves speaking the a subject, but NOT offering anything but opinions... Giving an opinion on an essay that you wrote for example is different from giving an opinion on someone else essay or video because when you write out something you UNDERSTAND it on a more deeper level... Giving an opinion on someone else essay or video to many means a simple viewing of a video with little to no understanding of the real content... With the exception of those who already have a background within that subject.

Thanks again @Unity404! I really enjoyed your comments. Fun to see so many thought provoking ideas. I look forward to seeing your content, and having you back now and again as well :D

Look forward to future posts from you. Not sure how many video posts I will make coming up but I'm considering a few things. :)
