We should all be concerned about Steemit, it's direction and it's success. But ultimately it depends on one thing. That is each and everyone of us.
If you have ever worked for or founded a Startup you will know how limited resources can be. It can be overwhelming at times on how to penetrate an existing market with your technology. Steemit is different, it was built for the people, it has core fundamentals that can allow it to grow super quick and organically. However, it does require one thing and that is participation from each and everyone of us. If this does not happen, it will be over before you know it.
I do not mean just us posting on a regular basis (although this is very, very important) I mean us talking about it and generating discussion regarding it.
Without 100's of new users signing up everyday the platform will plateau and it's viability questioned. It is our responsibility to continue to talk about it in a positive light and encourage new sign-ups.
Not only that it is important the founders keep on making steps forward every week and ensure substantial news is immediately shared. The gents behind Steemit need to be keeping people in the loop and promote what is actually happening behind the scenes.
This will demystify a lot of what is happening and it will also increase consumer confidence to persist with the platform. A lot of Crypto-founders seem to miss the boat on this and do not provide regular progressive updates with their user base and the world.
Steemit should also be seeking partnership opportunities, sponsorship opportunities and anything that is considered putting Steemit into the public eye.
Ultimately however, that is out of our hands.
It will be interesting and also if Steem Dollars can stay pegged to the US Dollar. I upvoted you. Please consider upvoting my post. https://steemit.com/steemit/@brianphobos/an-olympian-needs-our-help-steemit-please-read-this-if-you-have-ever-been-passionate-about-something
