DUSK isn't a game with an important story but still it's the kind of game you could spend hours on it.
It has this retro vibes/shooting corridor from your childhood. It got me remembered the video games developed back in the 90's and for sure it got me a little bit nostalgic.
DUSK is definitely right on track with the mindset of "Making FPS great". It has all of what FPS need to make it adopted by players, which is a limited story but the need to shoot things/stuff/others/human/demons etc etc.
What is different with DUSK is that..(and I almost peed on myself many times) you got to walk in very tight corridors with a dim light. You don't know what is happening around you, you don't have any clue on what could jumped onto you, you can't see the surrounding....then surprise...something pops out of nowhere...gosh I like that feeling.
It is completely nerve-wrecking but at the same time it is so pleasant to play it. Tell you the truth, I've probably yelled and screamed few times, I'm like completely on my toe walking on egg shells and focusing at 100% but the ennemies poppin out of nowhere really freaked me out sometimes.
DUSK has this thing to make you feel like you are completely unsafe everywhere. It's like I'm walking around and BOOM I just feel into a hole (weird but fun) and in that hole there will be like 10 ennemies that you have to slaughter right away. It's actually pretty smooth from DUSK. I mean I like that you go from exploring the map, to going into a smaller area with demons poppin from nowhere to killing mass ennemies. It goes from really scary to mass kill in a short time.
DUSK is definitely a must play for FPS players and retro games lovers.
