Yesterday I found out while reading @tkappa (lots of thanks) post about this amazing contest hosted by @onstellar. I am glad I managed to have some free time and write my entry for this one. here are the details

For hundreds or even thousands of years, humans have been mystified by the existence of extraterrestrial beings. One of the reasons the question of their existence raised is the fact that humankind has been evolving at a steady pace for the last four million years but only in the last ten thousand years, civilization has developed. What does that mean?
That means all the art, architecture, engineering and law codes, inventions you see all around us occurred in the last 0,25 percent of humankind evolution.

That is possible, but rather unlikely and so we have to wonder if we are missing something?! Based on the fact that all legends have some truth in them, we can think of the ancient writings of the Sumerian people, which is the oldest civilization known to man, mention their gods who they called Anunnaki and were being from another planet who came on earth in search of gold, a raw material which they needed to repair their atmosphere because it was broken. However, the Anunnaki workers were against and they refused to work. In this case, the Anunnaki leaders created a hybrid species containing a mix of their DNA and some DNA of our early ancestors, the humanoid ape, and so civilization began. This might be one reason why gold is so precious and valued all over the world, even among citizens who had no contact with each other.

Another explanation for the existence of extraterrestrials is the Nazca lines, which are a series of gigantic figurine s drawn over several miles in PERU. They were first seen in the early nineteen hundreds by a pilot who was flying over them. They are so big, that can be seen from a relatively high altitude, so we have to wonder why were they made in ancient times when there were no aeroplanes.

The pyramids of Giza especially the largest one are wonders of engineering because even today, with our modern technology and equipment, it would be extremely hard and difficult for us, if not impossible to buid them. The measurements used for their buildings are extremely precise and they used the concept of PI which is a mathematical concept that would not be discovered for several hundred of years. They also indicate the north extremely précised acting as a compass, another gadget that has not been discovered at that time.

Other ancient monuments are composed of one hundred ton blocks which cannot be moved even today with our heavy duty machinery. And that is not all! They are cut so precisely that you could not fit a sheet of paper between them. Some of the monuments are the PUMA PUNKU SITE in Bolivia, an area which amazed scientist for decades.

In 1945 or so, the Americans tested the first atomic bomb in New Mexico and the father of the atomic bomb (Oppenheimer) was quoted saying the same lines in the MAHABHARATA an ancient Hindu text: I have become the destroyer of the world. In the same text, we find very accurate descriptions of something that sounds like an atomic blast: an explosion which manifests itself with “the power of a thousand suns”. In the aftermath of such explosion, trees begin the light up and starts burning, people lose their hair and nails. An effect of such explosion is a process called vitrification in which stone that endured very high temperatures transform itself and begins to look an feel like Glass. A site where vitrification occurred is Indus Valley in Pakistan….Could we think of ancient nuclear warfare?!

In his search for the new world, the Italian Christopher Columbus wrote in his logs that on a clear night while he was standing on the deck of his ship a bright light suddenly came out of the water, moved up and down and after some time it suddenly disappeared. Columbus was not the only explorer who had otherworldly close encounters. The Portuguese Ferdinand Magellan was also a very respected explorer who reported such events.

Another interesting story happened in Germany, Nuremberg on the morning of 14th April 1561 . all of the city inhabitants saw very strange objects on the sky which seemed to engage in a fight/battle with each other and they could easily predict who was winning. This event becomes immortalize on a broadsheet which was the precursor of the newspaper.

One of the Founding Fathers of USA, Thomas Paine published a book called The age of reason in which he stated that extraterrestrial must exist and is very unlikely that God went from planet to planet and created life over there. For his ideas, he was unofficially exiled to Europe.

Throughout the history, there have been numerous citings of extraterrestrial that the fact of their existence can hardly be denied. If they played a major part in the development of our civilization or not, that is for anyone of us to study and come to a conclusion.
