Many of us are born in beautiful houses, we go to advanced schools and for defecation we have clean toilets. How lucky, but some aren't that lucky. We still have countries where open defecation still exists. Some countries like India, Pakistan, Indonesie and Nigeria. Let's only talk about India. According to a survey, 54% of the Indian population did not have toilets, which is now reduced to 34%.
So when you need to remove some waste, then the whole world is your toilet. For the men it isn't that big of a problem, it is the women who suffer the most. Indian women have to go in groups to find a place in the woods to defecate. They have a fixed time to go and that is when it's dark. The reason for it is the fear of getting raped. During the day time men and boys wander in the woods and when they see a woman they just start filming them. Open defecation is one of the biggest reasons of rapes in India. Just imagine putting your life in danger to find a place for defecation.
Now most of you must be thinking that the Indian government does not do anything for their public, but the real problem isn't the government. Indian aren't just willing to have a toilet in their house. Indian have a believe that where you worship, eat and sleep you should not defecate. There are several attempts made to open the eyes of the Indian public. On 11 august 2017 there is a movie released about this problem. The movie is called Toilet : Ek Prem Katha (means Toilet : a love story). The movie is a small contribution to solve the problem.
