so last week Fergus covered my song 'Lost and Waiting' AMAZINGLY and made me feel super special so I decided to smash one of HIS songs right back at him. Its Pretty Gorgon, his Songwriters Week #1 entry for the theme Broken Mirror. Its basically a love letter to Medusa, which goes to show what a badass @tarotbyfergus is. And here is my rendition of it: (apologies in advance for the slightly inconsistent volume level of my voice, I am really not very good at singing in to a microphone yet!)

I've noticed you share videos from both YouTube and DTube on your blog. What, in your opinion, are pros and cons of each? I don't have a DTube channel yet. Since I want to do more video editing I'm considering starting one, for whatever comes after benchercising :)

ummm.... well, youtube is the big powerful fast one that doesn't pay you unless you have masses of views and might censor you based on an algorithm, and D-tube is the little glitchy slow one that pays you in steem and is currently not going to stamp on your freedom of speech. Im big in to D-tube, I think its a revolution happening now, just like steemit, but i still upload openmic stuff to youtube because luzcypher was having trouble viewing dtube videos....Im not actually sure if thats still the case, theyre improving it all the time. Dtube is still early days so if you can get a following it could grow in to something big someday! but who knows....its all a gamble right? You could upload to both, but I think dtube might give more rewards to stuff that is exclusive to their platform

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts, this is really helpful. It sounds as though starting a Dtube channel will be worth it. I notice frequent improvements to Steemit in general so it makes sense that Dtube will get better, too. I've reached 500 followers and I want to create a video when I reach 1000. I have a lot of editing practice to do... For now I'm hosting a contest to thank my first 500 followers. Check it out if you want to share a selfie and say hi.
