OpenSeed Proposal FUNDED! Walk-and-Talk Video

in openseed •  5 years ago

"let me know what you think about..."

"Walk-and-Talk"
just be carefull on the roads

and remember about distractive driving
our brain is bad at multitasking as opposed to computers.

remember about "Me before you" Will Traynor's accident.

great video,

"you'll never regret doing work that feels meaningfull..."

well said, may become proverbial

just 2 questions (regarding localization/internalization (if the purpose is really to make "socially aware internet"
then some might be not aware because of language barrier)):
1
will the OpenSeed or OpenLink projects need translation service (into different languages) for its documentation (if it has (or will have) it)?

2

"Our goal for OpenSeed is to be that body. The soft “connective tissue” around that incredible backbone
that can help people connect, communicate, and collaborate, all while maintaining
complete control and ownership of their information and having that information protected by strong encryption."

--> can help people connect, communicate,

if "OpenLink is a mobile application. It's a decentralized private secure social networking and encrypted messaging application"
then what about using TranslateMe API (which is basically NEO blockchain + translation service)
which already created a solution for Telegram chat messages to be translated into different languages
for enabling international communication
?

http://translateme.network/

https://www.reddit.com/r/NEO/comments/fcvyot/translateme_free_api_for_french_to_english
(TranslateMe Free API for French to English)

it's as well secure, private, sould be cheaper (compared with Google translate etc.), rewards users with TMN token and might become
even with better accuracy compared with traditional centralized translation services.

(The difference between TranslateMe and leading machine translation.)

enabling international communication is just something to think about for the future

We will at some point need translation services, and the TranslateMe API sounds really slick. Thanks for the info!

Since we got a huge community already, I'd prefer crowdin tbf.
