Essential Oil Organization

in organization •  7 years ago

A few months ago it would be very evident I am an essential oils addict. The evidence was strewn about my home on every surface and in every nook and cranny...in every room in the house! The worst part was that I couldn't find the oil I needed when I needed it, so I would have to open another bottle.

After dealing with this for several years, I decided that enough was enough! I did a lot of looking and found these boxes on Amazon and haven't looked back since!

I still have the stray bottle that escapes every now and then, but these were very worth the money! I will say that I would not recommend them for bottles larger than 15 ml (.o5 oz) as most larger bottles do not fit.

I hope you enjoy!

What a great way to keep essential oils organized!

Thanks! It has been such a blessing!

I labeled them silly! Lol!

What are your favorite essential oils?

Brand or specific oils?

Brand, I love Young Living.

Single oils: Wintergreen for its ant-inflammatory and pain relieving properties, Peppermint as it has properties that make other oils you use it with more effective and it helps with pain and helps if I am congested. I love Thyme as it is soothing and warming to my achy muscles and when I take it internally it acts like a muscle relaxer and sleep aid.

Blends: I love Young Living's R.C. Blend for airway and it stops my husband's snoring (heaven sent!). Their Thieves Blend is wonderful. I use it if I am feeling like I am getting sick, to clean with, put in my laundry, and diffuse if anyone is sick in the house.

I like wintergreen too! It reminds me of the tic tacs. :)

My husband snores occasionally! I will have to check out the R.C. blend you mentioned!

Yes check it out! It is so worth it! I dilute a couple drops in about half a tsp of coconut or olive oil and rub on his chest and carotids. If that isn't quite enough I add a drop or two of Peppermint as well. Some prefer to put it on the pads of the big toes as that is the reflexology points for the head. A drop of cedarwood on the top on their head may promote oxygenation helping the snoring too.

Let me know if any of these tricks work for you!

Take care and God bless!
