"Groove Formation" Music Project

in originalmusic •  8 years ago  (edited)

Groove Formation is a music project we started with Atanas Rusev in 2014. We explore new reaches in music and sound creation. Our goal is to create music that is in harmony with the inner beats. We do not focus on one style of music only - there are many paths one can take in order to hear the beat of the Heart, The Drum, The Earth, The Universe...

Here is some of our music. I hope you will enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it.

Such A Chill

A mellow tune to relax to. Such A Chill is an exploration in the depths of music. The video is a trip around the world's oceans and its inhabitants, followed by a space panorama of Earth.

Midnight dubbing EP

This was our first EP we released over Bandcamp containing two original compositions. Two original tracks carefully created by the duo for a period of six months. The two compositions are opposites to one another, and when combined together they illustrate the quest to reach new and uncharted fusions of music and sound design. The EP was released on the Bulgarian free netlabel Mahorka.

Go ahead and look through the looking glass and enjoy the midnight dubbing.

Beatin

A track I actually did by myself, as I was exploring different techniques to mix and combine drum sounds. The track was later remixed by the young music producer Kfunk.

Thanks for checking our music. We did most of the sound inside Ableton with little use of plugins. It's really not what we use but how.
