Welcome readers! Today, I will write about a travel company which has a working product and will soon be integrated into a blockchain. The company is called Cool Cousin and they are captivated by the blockchain technology and aim to be the largest decentralized travel company in the world. We will see the journey of Tom of how he as a travel blogger navigate the blockchain features of the company and become a successful “Cousin” in the company.
Tom is an avid local travel blogger on Steemit, exploring his country, Singapore, every week, taking pictures and blogging them down consistently on the platform. He could only afford to go to non-payable places like parks.
While he was reading the blogs from the Trending Page, he came across an article titled “Cool Cousin” which is a travel company using blockchain technology. He read further that his travel content will be valued with a cryptocurrency “CUZ”. Without further ado, he became a Cousin, a terminology which means who creates a digital profile on the Cool Cousin platform and contributes their travel content on the blockchain.

The travel content (adding a spot to the Cool Cousin Map) added by Tom in the platform quickly get approved (by having four straight upvotes or 75% majority after 2 days) by the community of the platform. Tom and the voters as well get CUZ tokens for this activity. Tom was so excited by this proposition that he stayed at the platform adding new spots to the platform and persuading new users to join Cool Cousin. As a result, he earns more CUZ tokens.

Travellers then flock to his profile checking out the awesome photos he took. They are happy with the pictures and tip him with CUZ earning him more and more CUZ tokens.

To add to Tom’s pleasure, he is a select few (20% of the active Cousins) who is elected to the prestigious Board of Representatives. Tom applied for the position after staying for 6 months contributing his travel content immensely. Now he has the power to decide on matters of community standards, solving conflicts and many others that will decide the future of Cool Cousin.
As I have said in the first paragraph, they have a working product or app which was built in July 2017 and have several updates which made the app stable to use. The company used a niche of Travel and Tourism which will have projected growth in terms of world’s GDP of $3.5 trillion dollars by 2027 so the CUZ tokens will become more valuable as it approaches that year.

The company was also mentioned in mainstream media as the New York Times and National Geographic which put Cool Cousin in a more positive light for investors to trust the company.

The roadmap is clearly indicated which shows the goal the company is heading to and mass adoption by 2020.
