A Set of the Weak Correlation Arrays For Fixed-level

in orthogonal-design •  3 years ago

Naming rules of the Fixed-level type arrays: Wnfsolevels

Where, "W" is the first letter of weak, n means that runs = n, fso means that the array is Fixed-level type, whose leftmost s columns form an orthogonal sub-array, "levels" is the number of the levels of the design.

For example, W35f10o5L.

W35f10o5L means that the design has 35 rows, 34 columns whose number of levels be 5 with 10 orthogonal columns.

These matrices are constructed by the direct method. They differ from the orthogonal array (OA(N,K,s,t)) in that their experimental points are balanced dispersed but irregular, and between some columns are not orthogonal and could have weaker correlations.

Here, n-1 columns are provided. The correlation between some columns is beyond the scope of weak correlation. When used for experimental design, the threshold of weak correlation needs to be determined according to the specific situation of the project, and those columns with strong correlation should be deleted.

These results are constructed based on the author's computational technical conditions, and users with superior technical conditions can further optimize it and reduce its correlation on this basis.

The optimization methods will be provided later.
