This overheard is from January 2017
I was walking down a passageway between two roads in the town centre. Coming towards me was a little boy, about 3 or 4 years old, with his mum close behind him pushing an empty push-chair (stroller). There was a pigeon on the path between us, and the little boy started joyfully chasing after it, clapping his hands and saying "chicken, chick-chick chicken" as if he was playing on a farm, causing the pigeon to fly towards me and just over my head. After I walked past the boy's mum, I heared her behind me say exasperatedly, "it's not a chicken, it's a pigeon!"
