Players have complained that the skill set of snipers does not match the general game system characteristics of Overwatch, and this belief has become stronger with the introduction of Overwatch 2. Several players have expressed unhappiness with Widow's "cheat ability," noting that "it's cancer for the game." Because this character has a huge advantage in 1v1, 2v1 is the only realistic option, and for this reason, many recommend that Overwatch 2 should remove the snipers ability to 1 shot.
Others don’t agree to remove snipers in Overwatch 2 and think that snipers are not a bad choice if you get at least one. When people lose, they want to point the finger at their teammates. It's difficult to blame the Mercy, who you can see treating you, or the Reinhardt, behind whose shield you're sheltering. When a team has a sniper on it and they're losing, they tend to think they're useless because they haven't gotten a single kill. If someone is awful at sniping or worse than the opponent sniper, people may want to remove snipers in Overwatch 2.
Some, instead of insisting to remove snipers in Overwatch 2, give advice on strategy: snipers on defense are acceptable, yet, most snipers fail to recognize that their primary concentration should be counter-sniping. On attack, being killed by a sniper isn't a big concern, but on defense, it's generally a good long walk from the spawn room. An effective sniper on attack may make conquering a point much simpler, but most snipers on defense don't seem to realize this and instead focus on killing enemy tanks or whatever other target happens to come up on their screen. Defense snipers should actively seek out and prioritize opposing snipers, both for their protection and to keep their squad from becoming overwhelmed.
Whether or not snipers should be removed from Overwatch 2, to play a more smooth PVP game, you maybe need Lagofast, with its multipath connection technology, it computes and delivers packets through the most efficient path by mapping various routes to the game server, you could reduce latency and packet loss easily.
