Each body manifests changes in a different way. Women thanks to the menstrual cycle can receive signals of many things that happen in their body, including ovulation. What would be the symptoms of ovulation?
The body of each woman is different. Therefore, it will respond in its own way to the symptoms of ovulation and other hormonal changes that it experiences.
In some cases the ladies have the precision of a watch in their cycles, so they ovulate on the same day of each month. While others can not accurately specify the date of ovulation since it is variant. Before going deeper, let's define:
What is ovulation?
When one of the ovaries releases an egg it is said that an ovulation has occurred. Once released, the ovule can be fertilized and implanted in the uterus , thus promoting the beginning of pregnancy.
The most fertile period of a woman occurs five days before and the same day of ovulation itself. In the last three days of this process is when a woman is more likely to get pregnant.
Some ladies think that their menstrual cycle starts and ends with the period and the truth that is only a part. Menstruation brings with it physical and emotional symptoms. However, the menstrual cycle is not the only event that sends signals.
The symptoms of ovulation are noticeable in some girls and for others go unnoticed. It is very likely that those who have experienced them, do not associate them with the fact that they are ovulating. That is why some of them are described here so that they can recognize them.
The symptoms of ovulation.
Most common symptoms of ovulation
1. Headache
This is one of the most common symptoms. The presence of this discomfort should not cause concern, but if its intensity is considerable it is preferable to consult the doctor for an alternative treatment.
If the woman is regular in her menstruation dates, she can verify that she is suffering from a headache due to ovulation and not for any other reason.
The hormonal load that varies in the organism is the cause of this ailment. Some women even have menstrual migraines in these periods.
With the taking of oral contraceptives these pains can increase in intensity and frequency. In these cases, it is recommended to consult the gynecologist to change the pill mark or even contraceptive method. They can be recognized because most of them appear on one side of the head.
2. Mood changes
Hormonal variation can cause mood swings. Sadness and joy go through the mood of the woman throughout the day.
3. Changes in cervical fluid
The cervical fluid has a gelatinous and transparent appearance when the woman is ovulating or is close to ovulating. Greater amount of wet flow indicates ovulation in progress.
4. Variations in basal body temperature
Before ovulating this temperature is very constant. One of the symptoms of ovulation is the possible decrease in the basal temperature at the beginning and then a drastic increase immediately after the process. With the monthly monitoring of this symptom, it can be predicted when ovulation will occur.
5. Increase in sexual desire
The desire to have sex and the chances of getting aroused increase.
6. Vagina more sensitive and swollen
You may notice a slight swelling in the vulva plus an increase in sensitivity.
7. Abdominal pains
Colic or abdominal pain may occur at the time of ovulation.
8. Pains in the back and kidneys
Presence of some small intensity cramps in the lower lumbar area. They can cause an inadequate position of the body when walking or when sitting.
9. Increase in the amount of gases
In the ovulation process, the woman increases the production of gases. This is really uncomfortable and contributes to the possible pain of the stomach causing greater discomfort. Foods such as legumes should be avoided so as not to contribute through feeding with the production of gases.
The symptoms of ovulation.
Other symptoms of frequent ovulation are:
- Stain.
- Inflammed abdomen.
- Sensitivity in the breasts.
- Acuity in the sense of smell and taste.
In the market there are devices called "Ovulation tests". These act similarly to pregnancy tests . They detect the concentration of hormones indicating whether there is ovulation or not.
Symptoms of ovulation may give indications that the process is about to begin or is in progress. But to detect it accurately you must resort to this kind of tests.
These tests can also help detect possible health complications that, due to ignorance, are attributed to ovulation.
When the possible symptoms of ovulation are presented, the test is applied and it yields negative results. It can be deduced that they are due to other illnesses, for which corrective measures of other types are warranted.
