Lord and God of the pathways
From the highest heaven
To the lowest pit of Tartarus
Grant us safe passage
Grant us hope for times to come
When the darkness of death
Meets the light of life
Lord and God of commerce
Who from the poorest of the poor
To the richest of the rich
Grant us compassion
Grant us great skill
To create a good life for us all
Not just those who would exploit us
Lord God of communication
From a baby’s babble
To the complex languages of coding
Grant us your favor so we may learn
Grant us your wisdom that we not judge
For in all our language only one thing is true
A desire to understand one another once and for all
Lord God of shepherds
From humble birds
To the mighty herds of Apollo
Grant us skill in managing life
Grant us a desire to preserve and protect
That the life that sustains us
Bel also sustained by us in return
Lord God Hermes son of Zeus
Traveler on secret and divine roads
Whose holy duty is to guide us
When our time finally comes
Grant us a good ending
Grant us a clear way
And may we be worthy of your time
