We arrived in the afternoon at the Pai Village resort The hotel is stunningly beautiful with cabins that look like an excellent location located right in the middle of things. The hotel staff is really nice and welcoming. We unloaded the suitcases in the room. We took the large room in advance, although it was amusing to look at the hotel staff who did not understand how we would all enter the room. We found a really lovely restaurant on the river. It was really delicious. We hung around a bit and went back to the hotel for a short walk to the main pedestrian mall. At first it seems that Pai is a really charming town full of backpackers with a special charm. During the rest of the day we walked around the special pedestrian mall with food stands and a variety of souvenirs, a different atmosphere from the previous city we were in.
The next day we got up and had a really delicious breakfast with a team that tried to answer everything we wanted. We went on a visit to the animal farm. The hotel staff drove us in a golf car that we got off the car and entered the farm we did not get excited about the place! Everything is as beautiful and well-groomed as a picture of Alice in Wonderland. It seemed that every thought had been invested in every corner, and we did not stop filming from the moment they entered the farm
We bought a basket of animal food for the children and the enthusiasm was at its height. Na'ama did not stop chasing the rabbits, the children fed the fish in the lake from a bottle , we picked grapes and roasted them while we were on the farm, fed the sheep and the chicken,
And we returned to the hotel to get organized and go out to the night market. The market on the main street is full of life from 17:00 until 22:00. We wandered among the stalls and sneezed. We did not stop gorging. We went back to the hotel, ate a late supper, and went to sleep on a particularly fat stomach
Tuesday 27.11
We set out for the area with a driver, stopping at the first stop at hot springs. A magical place with warm water and small waterfalls between which there is a pool for a little splash. The children really enjoyed it ... Until now everything is beautiful and pastoral ... so that's not .... Shai from that day (or the evening before ..) complained that he had pain in the umbilical cord I looked at the area with the flashlight of the phone and saw that there was something ... an unidentified bone of greenish gray that looked like a certain insect ... I was really stressed ... I asked Shani to go to the hospital Without delay (yes, apparently some of our goals from the trip and in every new area is a short visit to the hospital .. some are expected to know me ...)
Shai tried to calm me down and said that the children were allowed to wade a bit in the springs and then we would go directly to the hospital, and that was about after half an hour roof (if I did not press, we would probably stay a bit longer ... you simply could not bear the thought of having an insect in the navel) Which will take us straight to the hospital in Pai. We arrived at the hospital. At first sight, it seems that the hospital is rather old and neglected (Shai still dared to ask if they had WIFI), After a brief registration in the reception we realized that by 13:00 there was no medical staff (they were in a lunch break ... but only half an hour later) the nurse took measurements from him on the chair - blood pressure and weight ?? And during that time I and the children waited. At this point we realized that by the time he saw a doctor it would probably take time for the children to complain that they were hungry. We decided to ask a driver to take me and the children to the hotel area to eat something and go back to the hospital to wait for Shai. At 14:30 Shai sends a message that removed his belly button and sent me a picture ... At this moment I felt nauseous from all the meal we ate .... Shai arrived after 15 minutes and claimed he was not hungry (apparently he was still traumatized). We drove to a lookout point over the Chinese village
Later we arrived at the Chinese village. The village looks like a Hollywood photo site - a tourist site to say the least. (Yael really felt like a model and cooperated happily, we bought a few souvenirs and go on to the next station.) We went to the house to enjoy the costumes.
The last stop was a vantage point with a statue of the white Buddha. We climbed 340 steps along with the children and reached a beautiful observation point and were fortunate enough to arrive at sunset .
And we went directly to the hotel, organizing and showers, and sat down to eat dinner at the hotel's restaurant. The children asked to eat steak in the hotel. We had a very tasty dinner and went out to wander the area and enjoy the colorful pedestrian mall
Wednesday 28.11
When we started the trip, we decided that after a day of hiking we would plan a calm day and flow while moving ... After organizing and breakfast. Before the hotel was a cafe and a corner
We wandered the street next to the hotel and found a bar with pool BAR WITH POOL And we thought it could be a nice solution for us and to splash a bit in the swimming pool Shai jumped into the hotel to bring a pool bag with bathing suits and towels and then told us that the children had no insurance and that there was a pond not far from the place. We jumped at the opportunity after a 10 minute walk that was a bit scary because there is no sidewalk and no walkers At the end of the road we got to the pool was a fun atmosphere we invited children to eat and shakes and enjoyed the swimming pool
We went back to the hotel and went out to walk around the pedestrian mall. We sat in a restaurant and ordered soup with a dish dedicated to traditional soup on coals and was excellent !!!
Thursday 29.11
Wake up and organize a brief breakfast at the hotel. It's nice to see that over time the hotel staff knew in advance what we were going to ask and how we helped him in what we needed. We booked a car with a driver in advance and went on a day trip
Day 5 - begin to feel regular routine get up in the morning get organized are going to eat a buffet breakfast to travel in the area we booked a car and a driver who waited for us at 10:30
We started off towards the bamboo bridge ( boon ko ku so bridge)The bridge, about 500 meters long, connects a village called Ban kung mai sak And a temple called wat tham pu sama . Between the village and the temple there are rice fields and the bridge was built so that the monks can collect the donations and food from the local people in the area. The bridge was built with craftsmanship made of bamboo sticks (width of the bridge is 2 meters long and 500 meters long)
The site itself has a bamboo bridge that is located above the Orzelzerno fields. We came to harvest the rice but still the place is really beautiful and pastoral.
From my conclusion after a few days of trips to the area every time I get to a new place I am excited because I realize that every place is more beautiful and unique than what we have seen so far and each time I Ampsika re-excited and take every step of our ... The children and Shai have become accustomed to the interesting and interesting requests They realized it was better to be photographed and finish quickly :-)
Enjoying the walk on the bridge Beautiful views From time to time we stopped for a short break to take pictures and drinking stopped. Coffee shop for pineapple and coconut
And we continued on our way to a short walking waterfall and got to the falls were cold but for my children it did not bother and they enjoyed splashing in the cool water a little pictures and back to the car
Atzrnobmkom earthquake occurred at ( land split) The entrance to the site is free of charge, maintained by donations already at the entrance. We were treated with the juice produced by the Rosalio flower that grew in the area (boil the flower with cool water and serve chilled with ice cubes). After we went on a walk in the site and saw the break that had been created over the years, we explained to the children about the activity and in the evening we were a bit more focused on the subject and learned about the activity
The place is free of charge and you can pay charity / donation to those who maintain the site in exchange for they respect for the fruit and easy drinking of course we donated and they also honored us with sweet potato chips and jam is immediately hot from the fruits in the place was excellent and we eliminated everything and also bought and equipped ourselves to continue the way
Hammocks .... Created in 2008 and in 2011 the crisis is growing ... was created in the land of the farmer that he and our family are maintaining a quiet break for the rest of the trip ..... We talked with tourists
I stopped by for lunch at a coffee shop and a lovely observation point of the area. Love Strawberry Pai
The place is suitable for children. There are all kinds of strawberry sculptures. A beautiful garden and a strawberry growing farm. We thought we could pick strawberries, but they told us that there was not a bit of disappointment in the children at the moment, but nevertheless they cleaned the strawberries and enjoyed every moment
We had lunch in the amazing scenery that was taken from the restaurant and we also met Almog Kinas from our kibbutz ... It was a surprising and fun meeting to meet people who know and live from the same small community in Israel instead of the most unexpected rat on the map !!
We went to the next destination Lahrmcn Bridge Memorial Pai Memorial BridgeThe Japanese who wanted to cross the river with armed vehicles to attack Burma in the army forced the residents of the area to build the bridge. After leaving the army, Gesher remained for transit. Yael began to complain that her ear hurts in the event of a drop in the ear
And the last target
Fakignon pay canyon We got out of the car on the back carrier and we ascended a magnificent view. Every time I think with myself that this is the most beautiful landscape I have seen so far
At this point we realized that there were 3 extremely narrow tracks. I and Shai made short assessments and decided to make the tracks really dangerous for the children even considering that Yael is not feeling well or at her best
We decided to start a wider route and return as soon as we started to be narrower. We strolled for more than 2 kilometers and went back and took our pictures and drove to the hotel.
The children asked to stay in the room after a short time of preparation and showers with Noam to bring us our laundry (they sent almost a whole bag every day ... I already said that we were exceptional instead ... the locals and the owners of the laundry did not understand how it made sense :-)) and buy carafim and samosotli and leal )
The children stayed in the room and we went out to eat with Na'ama in a local restaurant in front of the hotel and we called the children through the Watts. In the meantime, they saw a movie and we enjoyed it. We also brought them a chip for the wedding and we settled with Na'ama for coffee and Thai tea
He returned to the room and sat down briefly to sleep
30.11 Friday
We are leaving the charming Pai that was so good we organized and packed the moussouvouh. We had breakfast. We had already booked a van with a driver to take him to a night in Tsangmay and the next morning we were scheduled to fly to Hanoi Vietnam from Chiang Mai Airport in the morning. The way as in Haloch was not simple I and Noam felt not good and pleasant even vomit (luckily we had bags in advance)
At the hotel / hostel we agreed that we would get organized quickly in the room and go to have our Friday meal at home. We arrived at the hotel / hostel in the old city. The room was really very small. There were 2 bunk beds which were accessed by the kids climbing wall. We were really less ... it was not really clean either. I was deeply hurt knowing that the stay would be very, very short. I understood that we (I and Shai) were less likely.
We took into account that the children would be hungry until Friday dinner so we stopped on the way for the first time in Thailand in kfcWe took a red taxi to the Chabad house. Compared to last week the place was really busy and two rounds were fun families who enjoyed meeting and exchanging recommendations and tips for our further trip
Then we went to the night market. I and Yael decided that we were doing a henna tattoo (for Yael for a second time) and I did over the ankle on my left foot. Noam as usual wanted to eat crepe with Nutella. We went back to the hotel to sleep for the flight tomorrow. I lulled Naama into a cart and stayed in the lobby / common area to order the Hotel Hanoi. Apparently due to the short stay in the current hostel, I was pleasantly surprised by a 2 bedroom suite in a central location at 400 NIS. I felt like I needed some spice
