Isla My Granddaughter - Acrylics on Canvas

Hi, My Name is Carol and I'm new to the Steemit community and this is my first post , so here goes :)
I have been painting in my spare time since I was young. I currently work for the NHS in England and when I do manage to get some spare time I do often paint. I mainly do paintings for free though occasionally have sold some, but my passion is for the art and I just want my art to be seen. This painting of my granddaughter was replicated from a photo as she would not sit still, being only 3 years of age. I chose the image as it reminded me of an old style Victorian painting and I had a nice antique frame to display it in ( please scroll down to bottom image for final result). I mainly use acrylic paint on canvas or board but mixed media and oils I have used too and I also like to sketch with pencil or ink. I will be putting many pieces of my art on Steemit and hope I get some complimentary feed back. Thank you for taking the time to read this short intro :)
