Ruins of Nomika

Hello .... Today i'm sharing with you a fantasy scenery that I've done on 3ds max
"The Ruins of Nomika" are just near of the nomika' island, it was a small castle with some tombs of the ancient knights of Nomika.

i started by modeling the platform, and the small wall, i tried to modeling it while respecting the age, it's a ruins^^ it should have some destroyed pillars, some rocks and some medieval windows.

also i modeled the Old tree, start by creating a cylinder and to do some branches, select your cylinder and go to polygon, select free form and go to Draw Poly and select branche, start to modeling aleatory branches to be more real.

after that i modeled this small roof attached to a few wooden pillars. as u can see it's a low-poly modeling, try to do just the necessary detail and it you will get an amazing result
add some object like this old wagon, with some of barrels and broken wheels, it will give more fantasy to your scenery.

This is what the entire scene looks like

now start texturing your objects, using color map for the ground texture, and do some standard materials to the majority of objects.

Now start configuring your render, i used a Day Light and Mental-Ray for rendering
After that, when you get your render import it to Photoshop and start working on it until you will get an amazing result.

at the end, i used IVY-Generator for the foliage .
hope you enjoyed Faynar

thank you again ..if you have any question just leave message or contact me , it will be a pleasure to help u^^

Oh gosh.... so beautiful. I would love to spend the time to learn this. I looked into this sort of design when i was looking at how computer games were made and fell in love with the creativity of it all. Alas i fall in love with too many creative persuits and i just don't have the time to learn this artform!

I downloaded a few programs watched hours of breathtaking tutorials and had to shelve the project for another life time.

glad that pleased you ...if you need any help or advice just contact me or leave a comment ^^
i'll do my best to answer your questions ^^
thank u

thanks so much, no i think for the moment it needs to be shelved. I can see learning anything would require more time than i have and i would be so upset at not being able to produce what is in my head! My thoughts were ambitious... even for an experienced graphic designer :-) Thanks so much for the offer.... you never know what the future holds.

yeap ^^ ur right, thank you and good continuation ...

This is amazing! I tried to make a tree house in Maya Autodesk. Unfortunately, I failed badly. it resulted only with frustration and stress. :') Keep up the good work.

hhh ^^ thank youu...
