Border Crossing between China and Pakistan
Khunjerab Pass is a high mountain pass in the Karakoram mountains in a position o the northern border of pakistani region of Gilgit Baltistan Hunza-Nagar District.
On the Chinese side, the pass is the southwest terminus of China national highway 314 and is 130 km from Tashkurgan, 420 km from Kashgar and some 1890 km from Uramqi.
China Pakistan Relations
China-Pakistan relations began in 1950. Pakistan has a long and strong relationship with China. The long-standing ties between the two countries have been mutually beneficial. China also has a consistent record of supporting Pakistan in regional issues. China has supplied equipment to support Pakistan's nuclear program.
Military Relations
There are strong military ties between China and Pakistan. China has been a steady source of military equipment to the Pakistani Army, helping establish ammunition factories, providing technological assistance and modernizing existing facilities.
