Most channels all the bots will respond in, you can even Direct Message the bots. If you are $upvote ing though, it's typically best to either do it in your own private community channel 'if it is allowed, in some it is in some it is not', or in the #upvote channel.
Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:
