Is that such a drama?

No idea if it is a well-known saying in other countries, but in the Netherlands we always say when you are 'out of life' that you are behind the Geraniums. In that respect you can say that the Geranium has a negative connotation. But is this right?

Besides the fact that the Geranium really gives beautiful flowers and also smells nice, this plant is also a symbol for Encounters and Friendship. This could perhaps be used to explain the saying, someone who has moved out of life often longs for encounters and friendship. Now that we know this, the association immediately becomes a little less negative.

And there is more to this beautiful plant. The Geranium is also extremely suitable for medicinal applications. For example, the Geranium leaf. From this you can make a tea that stimulates blood circulation, but at the same time this tea can also be used for throat infections, diarrhea, depression, fatigue and insomnia. A compress of this tea is good for eczema, shingles, sore breasts, a fever rash or acne. In short, very many applications.

You can also eat very young leaves, and these are also added to ice cream, desserts, liqueur and soft drinks due to the fresh, sweet taste.

Are you also going to make an oil from the flowers then you have a wonderfully smelling massage oil which is wonderful to use in your bath, because it works extra relaxing. And is also very good for muscle disorders. In addition, there is an additional effect on the geranium massage oil, it can also have a lust-enhancing effect. The essential oil is stimulating without anesthesia.

Just putting the plant inside helps the scent of the leaves to dispel mosquitoes and other insects. Lemon geranium is the most suitable variant for this.

As you can see, this plant is a lot less corny than we often think when we hear the name Geranium appear.

Fantastic!!

Great post I wish I could sit behind them and have all the time in the world (to chill, have a good talk with them and pick out the dead flowers).
