Selective Memory

I seriously had a big laugh yesterday, and I'm not trying to be ridiculous. As it turns out some democrat leaders are calling for impeachment, and one particular comment made by Nancy Pelosi has riled up everyone's feathers big time. If I'm to be honest, I think this is nothing more than virtue signaling, but the reaction was just amazing.

When Nancy Pelosi was asked about the impeachment hearings she said, planly, that she would prefer to see Trump in prison. I for one could not believe my ears, since I don't truly believe they are going to do anything and I sincerely think that if they do, they will probably guarantee a second term for Trump, but it happened.

Not much later Sean Hannity was on his show expressing his disdain for the democratic party and more so his shock, when he heard Pelosi's comments. Im paraphrasing, but it went something along the lines of: "It's a terrible precedent when the Democrats are trying to imprison their political opponents"

He proceeded to explain briefly his point, it being that Trump has not been found guilty and what not, which is technically true, but that's not what is comical about it all. I distinctly remember a chant from the 2016 campaign that make an anthem at every city: Lock Her UP.

My dislike of the Clinton's aside, this seems like a pot calling the kettle type situation, and nobody is trying to be funny in the very least. There was no sarcasm in his tone either, if you are wondering.

At any rate, selective memory is a thing, so there's that.
