My new banjo slicer makes a stir fry a lot easier to prepare.

My Beautiful Wife (and BFF) wanted a stir fry, so I broke out the banjo slicer and made one up for her.

Here is what the final plate looked like:

The banjo slicer allowed me to thin slice the cauliflower, and it acted like water chestnuts in the final serving.

I do some things differently, when I stir fry. The slicer will cut the slabs, and with a second setting; these slabs can be additionally cut into squares about 1/8" (2 mm) across. I used this setting to cut up zucchini, potatoes, radishes (I like radishes, LOL), and tiny sweet peppers. I added shredded Carrots.

Then I added diced onions and crushed garlic to the wok and cooked them soft in oil to bloom the spices. Then I diced in chicken, and added mushrooms, and cooked them and set it aside.

I sautéed the rest of the vegetables in teriyaki sauce, while the noodles cooked. When they were cooked just right for my taste, I added back the chicken mix I set aside, and stirred it well!

The plate was assembled on a bed of noodles, and it was real edible! It was a 16" deep skillet, but we ate every scrap of it. GOOD eats!
